Deva Prasanth’s journey began in Palakkad, where he built a solid academic foundation through his schooling and college education.
After completing his bachelor’s degree, he entered the corporate world. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and growth, he took a break to pursue an MBA at Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS), Calicut.
With a professional journey spanning over 25 years across the corporate and business landscape, Deva has worn multiple hats and built a diverse portfolio of impactful ventures and leadership roles.
Equipped with his MBA, Deva returned to the corporate realm and progressed to the role of National Relations Manager at Bournhall Clinic, UK—a globally renowned British Medical Research Institute and pioneer in IVF technology.
With a deep-rooted passion for creative expression, Deva made his mark in the film industry as a Feature Film Producer. He co-produced the Malayalam movie "Oru Patham Classile Pranayam" and leads "Devaprasanth Films", his in-film branding and movie promotion initiative dedicated to supporting and amplifying Indian cinema through innovative branding strategies. In addition, he heads "Devaprasanth Media Hub", a post-production division that offers professional support services to the entertainment industry, catering to a wide range of film, digital, and broadcast projects.
Fueled by entrepreneurial ambition and a desire to transform the Genetic & Longevity Research field, he went on to establish UEERI Genome & iProDiet. The initiative is focused on advancing personalised nutrition and preventive health through DNA-based insights, bridging the gap between cutting-edge genetic research and everyday wellness solutions.
In addition to his diverse entrepreneurial and leadership ventures, Deva has also forayed into the press and media industry. He currently serves as the Bureau Chief of City Voice, an RNI-accredited daily newspaper with a strong digital presence, including an online portal and active social media platforms. In this role, he contributes to shaping responsible journalism while expanding the reach and credibility of regional news media.
Deva Prasanth currently serves as the State General Secretary of the Nationalist Youth Congress, the youth wing of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Kerala, reflecting his active engagement in youth leadership and public affairs.
Dedicated to giving back, Deva Prasanth actively engages in philanthropic efforts, extending his support whenever possible.
